The Indian-Belarusian Business Forum (IBBF 2026) Mumbai was successfully held on June 17, 2026, in Mumbai, India, bringing together leading representatives of business, government institutions, and international organizations from both countries.

Even before its opening, the Forum generated significant interest across a wide range of industries and state-owned enterprises. Business leaders from numerous Indian states, as well as representatives from several Middle Eastern countries, traveled to Mumbai to participate in this landmark event.

The Forum was honored by the presence of senior officials from the Government of Maharashtra, members of the Consular Corps, diplomatic representatives, and delegates from various international missions. Their participation underscored the high importance of the Forum in strengthening India-Belarus relations and advancing economic cooperation between the two nations.

The Forum officially commenced with welcoming remarks from Mr. Aliaksandr Matsukou, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus, and Mr. Avinash Solwate, Deputy Minister for Under Secretary protocol, Diaspora, Marketing and Investments of the Government of Maharashtra.

Expert speakers and industry leaders participating in the panel discussions highlighted unprecedented opportunities for bilateral cooperation and investment. Presentations focused on practical solutions in banking, finance, logistics, trade facilitation, and industrial collaboration, demonstrating the strong alignment of both countries in achieving ambitious economic goals.

The presentations delivered by the Forum's General Partner, Belarusbank, the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, and other distinguished partners emphasized their confidence in the Forum as an effective platform for building sustainable business relationships and fostering cooperation at all levels between India and Belarus.

Beyond business and investment, the Forum also sparked considerable interest in cultural exchange and collaboration, reflecting the growing desire of both nations to strengthen people-to-people connections alongside economic ties.

A major highlight of the afternoon program was the series of direct B2B meetings and negotiations, which transformed the Forum venue into a vibrant center of business dialogue. These discussions resulted in the signing of several agreements and partnership arrangements, celebrated by participants and delegates alike.

The event concluded with an elegant Gala Dinner accompanied by live saxophone music and a tasting presentation featuring premium products from renowned Belarusian producers. The warm and friendly atmosphere, filled with optimism and positive energy, was further enhanced by an exciting announcement from the organizers.

The next edition of the Indian-Belarusian Business Forum (IBBF 2026) Mumbai will take place on June 17, 2027, at the World Trade Center, Mumbai, with Belarusbank continuing as the Forum's General Partner.
